Website evaluation is one of the most important aspects of website design next to the design itself. One definition of evaluation is "the process of determining the usability of a website for its intended audience" Questionnaires are a proven method of evaluation but it is important to create questions that are open requiring more than a yes or no answer though is some case that is still what one gets. A viewpoint question encourages the evaluator to put thought into their response and adds depth to it.
As questionnaires are often viewed as a tiresome exercise there has to be a trade off from viewpoint questions and short answer or multiple choice. The groups' questionnaire is divided as follows - 75% of it is in the format of a question with multiple choice answers. The remaining 25% are of the type requiring a written response.
