Web
The
web structure is simply a collection of pages joined together by meaningful
links that transport the user from one page to other related material. Both
the hierarchal and web structures allow the user to take control of the information
presented and view it in whatever order they wish. This structure is appropriate
for very experienced users.
Compound
Structures
A
website may use one or a compound of these structure types to create their site.
The image right comprises parts of the sequence, hierarchy and web structures.
Regardless of the structure you choose for you website you should ensure that;
- Every page is
accessible from at least one other page.
- Every link functions
and goes to only one page
