This was the subject of a report written by MIP2 for part of this project and is included below.
An area often dismissed as unimportant by website developers, the subject of Legal Issues is one that should be taken seriously by all involved. Looking at just a few of the subjects in this area the group evaluated each of the sites chosen at the beginning of this project and considered the following: -
Some of the subjects may seem excessive for the one-man business selling widgets from a spare room through the Internet but each is vitally important if the website owner wishes to protect not only himself but his clients.
